The following participants will take part in the final of national contest “Song for Eurovision”:
1. Kristina Bobkova (13 years old, Minsk) - “Eurovision Holiday”.
2. Anastasia Volodkevich (12, Vitebsk), Ekaterina Moshchenko (13, Vitebsk) - "Kite".
3. Yulia Vorobei (13, Rechitsa) - "Don’t Miss Your Dream".
4. Vadim Dudaladov (14, Minsk) - "Sweet Mammy".
5. Aleksey Zhigalkovich (9, Minsk) - "Sunny Paradize".
6. Irina Kulagina (12, Lepel) - "Morning".
7. Mikhail Lila (11, Mozyr), Polina Zhdanovich (11, Mozyr) - "Dreams of the Skies".
8. Natalia Lipskaya (10, Minsk) - "To All the Children of the World”.
9. Kseniya Sitnik (10, Mozyr) - "We are Together".
10. Bozhena Yankevich (12, Minsk) - "Angel".
Yulia Proshchurovskaya, Yanina Daviduk and Marya Leshchinskaya, who didn’t pass the selection round, were invited for training to the National Mulyavin’s Center of Musical Art.
The national contest “Song for Eurovision” is held to select a performer, who will represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Hasselt, Belgium on November 26, 2005.
The contest was organized by National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture. The rules of participation of the Belarusian talents in the contest correspond to international standards.
Any song author, aged from 8 to 15, who is a citizen of Belarus or lives in the country for at least 2.5 years, can take part in the contest.
The lyrics of a song, presented for the contest, should be written in one of the state languages of the Republic of Belarus.
The music and lyrics of the song shouldn’t be commercialized that is they are not to be distributed in the Web, on CDs, mini discs and audio cassettes, sold, copyrighted or rotated on radio and TV.
The time of the song should be 2.30 - 2.45 minutes and its author must take part in the performance as a vocalist or an instrumentalist. The song should be performed live on the stage and accompanied by music, recorded without vocal elements and vocal limitations.
