Polina Smolova will have number five in the semifinal. Once everyone has sung their song, the voting of TV viewers will begin. Your TV screens will show telephone numbers, which you can call within 10 minutes to cast a vote for your favorite. Belarusians can vote for everybody but a Belarusian contestant. Digame.de platform will be used to support the voting. Korianna will act as a presenter on behalf of Belarus.
Belarusian “Beltelecom” (phone voting) and Russian “Soyuztelecom” in cooperation with SMS Media Solutions (SMS voting) provide technical background of polls for Belarusian audience.
To vote by phone, one needs to dial 8 810 101 03 ХХ (ХХ is the number of a performer you liked). A call will cost 1,000 Belarusian rubles. To vote by text (accessible to users of all mobile operators), you need to text to number 7708. A text message will cost 1,300 Belarusian rubles.
A backup jury is envisaged in each country to rate performances in case of a malfunction of the telephone voting. In Belarus, according to the EBU regulations, a composition of the backup jury will be decided by Belteleradiocompany. Names of jury members are subject to no disclosure. The jury cannot vote for a Belarusian candidate or refrain from voting.
Beltelecom will pass data from Belarus to Digame Info Center 10 minutes after the official voting in the semifinal. Then 10 countries that have advanced to the final will be announced.
