Less than a week is left till the final of the national selection round of the international Eurovision Song Contest 2016. This Friday, on January, 22, the name of the lucky one who will represent our country at the prestigious musical forum in Sweden will be announced during the live broadcast of the TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24.
Meanwhile, the media holding continues preparation for the final gala concert. Today installation of the stage and equipment has started in the BTRC studio 600 meters. Individual rehearsals of the finalists will begin in the studio on January, 20. General runs of the show will be held in the evening on January, 21, and in the afternoon on January, 22, just before the final.
The final show will start at 22.00 and will be broadcast live from the studio 600 m by the TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24, and online on the websites of the media holding tvr.by and of the European Broadcasting Union eurovision.tv. The live broadcast of the concert will also be held by the radio station Radius FM.
According to the draw, the 10 contestants will perform in the following order: 1. Alex Gross; 2. Sasha Zakharik; 3. Valeria Sadovskaia; 4. Group Radiovolna; 5. Group THE EM; 6. Group NAVI; 7. IVAN (Alexander Ivanov’s stage name); 8. Anastasia Malashkevich; 9. Kirill Yermakov; 10. NAPOLI.
Viewers of Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 have already had the opportunity to get acquainted with the contestants through postcards that were broadcast by the channels. Moreover, all 10 finalists have participated in the program Good Morning, Belarus!.

The hosts of the final show are Olga Ryzhikova and Teo, who will perform a new song during the concert. Special guests of the concert - Alena Lanskaya, Gunesh, Sasha Nemo and Kathy - will also sing for the participants and spectators.
For the first time the winner of the national final will be determined by the audience via telephone and SMS voting.
The winner will receive a special award - a stylized Eurovision heart. Prizes and gifts for the winner and finalists of the national selection have been prepared by sponsors and partners of the project - Alfa-Bank, the Company Dell, Minsk Watch Plant Luch and Neman Glassworks.
Organization of the national qualifying round and further preparation of the Belarusian party to the International Eurovision Song Contest-2016 is carried out by BTRC as the only Belarusian member of the European Broadcasting Union.
Eurovision-2016, the 61st international song contest will be held in Stockholm (Sweden) from May, 10 to 14, at the Globen Arena.
