The winner of the national qualifying round of Junior Eurovision 2019, who will represent Belarus at the international music forum in Gliwice, has been determined.
The winner's name was announced late at night on September 20 live on Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 TV channels. The official website of the country's main media holding company also broadcast the final of the national qualifying round online www.tvr.by.
Eight solo performers and two vocal bands fought for the right to enter the international stage of Junior Eurovision 2019. The final show was hosted by Andrei Makayonok and Helena Meraai.
On September 21, at 20.00 Elizaveta Misnikova will be the guest of the evening show "Makayonka 9", and answer the questions of the Eurovision commentator and the project host Yevgeny Perlin, and will also make a musical gift to the audience of Belarus 1.
On Monday, September 23, the official representative of Belarus at Junior Eurovision-2019 will take part in the live broadcast of the most popular morning program "Good Morning, Belarus!"
On the same day at 12.00 online conference featuring Elizaveta Misnikova . will start on the site of BTRC. Everyone will be able to ask a question to the young performer.
Belarus has been participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since its founding in 2003. The first Belarusian participant in the forum was Olga Satsyuk. There are two victories in the history of our country: in 2005, Ksenia Sitnik won the show with the song "We Are Together", in 2007 Alexei Zhigalkovich was the best with the song "With Friends". Last year, Belarus hosted an international competition for the second time and gathered a record number of participants: representatives of 20 countries performed on the stage.
