Daniel Yastremsky to represent Belarus at Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018

Our country will be represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018 in Minsk on November 25 by Daniel Alex Yastremsky.

The winner's name was announced late in the evening of August 31 in the live broadcast of Belarus 1 and Belarus 24. The online broadcast of the final of the national qualifying round was also held by the official site of the country's main media holding www.tvr.by.

Eight solo performers and two vocal groups competed for the right to enter the international stage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The hosts of the final show were Teo and Olga Ryzhikova.

On Monday, September 3, an online conference with the winner of the national selection of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018 will be launched on the website of Belteleradiocompany at 12:00.

Let us remind you that Belarus has been participating in the International Junior Eurovision Song Contest since its inception - since 2003. The first Belarusian participant of the forum was Olga Satsyuk. Our country has won twice: in 2005, the contest was won by Ksenia Sitnik with the song My Vmeste, in 2007 - Alexey Zhigalkovich with the song With friends. Last year, Helena Meraai took the fifth place with the song I Am The One.

The National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus acts as the organizer and coordinator of all events of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018 as the only member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in our country.
