“The World after Auschwitz” is a story about Jewish transit camps from France to Holland, about how the concentration camp near the Polish town of Oswiecim turned into the death factory for millions of people and functioned in the heart of Europe for four years.
The creator of the film is Moshe Vyacheslav Kantor, screenwriters and directors are Alexey Shishov and Elena Yakovich.
The film is based on the archives, footage from the international forum “Long Live my People!” in Krakow and the state ceremony in the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial’s museum devoted to the 60th anniversary of the camp liberation as well as accounts of eyewitnesses.
The following people make appearances in the film: President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Israel Moshe Katsav, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, ex-President of Poland Alexander Kwasniewski, Nobel Prize Winner Eli Wiesel, President of Russian Jewish Congress Vyacheslav Kantor, etc.
