The National State TV and Radio Company and Kazakhstan TV/Radio Company signed a cooperation agreement on March 6 in Almaty.
The agreement was signed when Deputy Head of BTRC Yury Azarenok led a delegation on a visit to Kazakhstan. The agreement envisages exchange of documentaries, economic, social, cultural, sport and news programming; bilateral participation in television contests, festivals and other cultural events held in Belarus and Kazakhstan.
During the visit to Almaty BTRC delegation members will take part in meetings of the Council of Heads of State-run and Public Broadcasters of CIS member states and the Council Working Group, hold talks with the Kazakhstan TV/Radio Corporation management, see the level of corporate equipment and technology and take part in celebrations of the Kazakhstan TV’s 50th anniversary.
At the moment BTRC cooperates with 28 broadcasters in Russia and partners from 14 CIS and non-CIS countries under bilateral agreements.
