Chief Director of TV Broadcasting Department of Belteleradiocompany Vladimir Issat noted that the basic task is wide coverage of all main events held within the frameworks of “Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk”.
During the 8 days of the festival First National TV Channel, “Lad”, “Belarus-TV” TV channels and First National Channel of Belarusian Radio, “Culture” radio channel, “Belarus” and “Radius-FM” FM stations will be providing update information about the main events held in Vitebsk through live broadcasts, information programs and news issues.
During the festival some programs of the First National TV Channel and “Lad” TV Channel will be broadcasted directly from Vitebsk: “Good Morning, Belarus!”, “Your Lotto”, “Family Matters”, “Extracts”, “Autograph” and others. “Institute of Culture” program will be on air in the form of TV magazines covering main events of the festival.
First National TV Channel will provide live coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies of “Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk” festival, Days of Culture of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, Day of the Union State. On June 17 and 19 the contest of young performers will be broadcasted live. Belarus will be represented by Gunesh Abasova and Polina Smolova.
On July 15-17 “Lad” TV Channel will broadcast live children’s music contest. Belarus will be represented by 10-years old Ksenia Sitnik and Mikhail Lila.
This year, for the first time in the history of the festival, the audience of the First National TV Channel and “Lad” Channel will be able to choose the best performer as well as the professional jury. As the result of the interactive voting the winners in the big and children’s contests will receive presents of USD $1000 equivalent.
In accordance to the agreements concluded with Belteleradiocompany the festival will be also covered by TV companies from 9 Russia’s regions, Ukraine, Moldova, Latvia and Poland. The audience of 16 countries where programs of “Belarus-TV” satellite channel are broadcasted will also receive the opportunity to watch the festival.
Belteleradiocompany invites the audience to watch the festival’s events at the First National TV Channel and “Lad” TV Channel as well as to listen First National Channel of Belarusian Radio, “Culture” radio channel, “Belarus” and “Radius-FM” FM-stations.
