The craftsmen town was where all the action was on Sunday. In honor of the Belarusian cultural day, potters opened their furnace and out came pots… and a model of the Vitebsk town hall, curly ram, whistles, iron-shaped boxes.
On Sunday, residents of Vitebsk came to the Millennium Plaza for a traveling edition of Your Lotto game show hosted by Sergey Kukhto. The show attracted a lot of spectators who, once the show was over, rushed to get an autograph and have their pictures taken with Sergey Kukhto.
Production team of “Festival Diaries” visited the local lore museum for a presentation of an exhibition “Here and Now” by Latvian artist Irina Petrusevich.
Production teams of BTRC television and radio channels were the first to see the premiere showings of “Another War Story” directed by Petr Krivostanenko and long-awaited “Dunechka” directed by Alexander Efremov. The film pays an homage to late Nikolai Yeremenko Junior who was born in Vitebsk. One of the parts was played by young popular news host of the First National Channel Denis Kurian.
The Star Time on this day was definitely attended by Anatoly Yarmolenko. In the evening, he invited everyone to the concert called “Syabry meet friends”. The art gala performance of Belarus was attended by Maxim Sapatkov, Inna Afanasieva, Yadviga Poplavskaya and Alexander Tikhanovich, Pesnyary, Trinity, Pure Voice, Nikolai Baskov, Taisia Povaly, etc.
On July 18, the international Music Child Contest came to a close. The final decision will be announced by the jury on Monday. Let it be reminded that Belarus was represented by 11-year-old Bozhena, laureate of the national festival “Constellation of Hopes”, “Belaya Rus” and other prestigious contests. Before entering the stage, Bozhena gave an exclusive interview to the First National Channel.
The day ended in sharp humor of stand-up artists Elena Vorobei, Gennady Vetrov, Semen Altov and Ponomarenko Bros who made the crowd laugh till the dawn.
