Today, the main media holding of the country has held a draw for the finalists of the National qualifying round of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018. The draw was followed by a working meeting of the creative group of the project with the teams of young performers.
As a result of the draw, the contestants will take the stage in the following order:
1. Group Myata (Minsk), Once Upon a Time;
2. Daniel Alex Yastremsky (Minsk), Time;
3. Elizaveta Meya (Zhodino, Minsk region), Zorka;
4. Artem Skorol (Oshmyany, Grodno region), Smile;
5. Angelina Yaroshchuk (Minsk), Feeling Good;
6. Vocal group Monkey Tops (Minsk), In Style;
7. Maria Zhilina (Minsk), Welcome To My Belarus;
8. Yaroslav Sokolikov (Minsk), Peace on Earth;
9. Nikita Belko (Minsk), Do Not Betray;
10. Maria Gulevich (Minsk), Island Chikarum.
After the draw, the organizers of the project spoke with the finalists.
The date of the final of the National selection round of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018 was announced: August 31. By tradition, the final stage of the project will be held in the form of a gala concert, which will be broadcast live on Belarus 1 and Belarus 24, as well as online on the official website of the media holding www.tvr.by. The hosts of the concert are Olga Ryzhikova and Teo.
Meanwhile, the meetings of the young performers with the TV crew will continue until the finale. So, the creative group of Belteleradiocompany will record a video-presentation for each of the 10 participants, which will precede the performance of the contestant in the gala-concert. The filming process will begin in late July. The director is Yana Shablyko.
On the stage of studio 600 Meters television specialists will discuss the concept and features of the contest performance with each of the finalists. On the eve of the final, individual rehearsals of the contestants and general runs of the gala concert will be held in the media holding.
The winner of the National qualifying round will represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018 in November this year in Minsk.
