Belteleradiocompany has held a draw to determine the allocation of the Junior Eurovision national selection participants into the final gala concert scheduled to take place on 26 August.

The country’s main media holding continues preparations for the 2016 Junior Eurovision national selection final. Today, Belteleradiocompany has hosted a draw to determine the allocation of the contestants into the final, after which Belteleradiocompany’s creative team held a working meeting with the young artists’ teams.

According to the draw, the contestants will take the stage in the following order:

1. Maria Magilnaya (Mogilev);

2. So-Ni-Ka, show band (Vitebsk);

3. Elena Titova (Mogilev);

4. Yulia Mozhilovskaya (Minsk);

5. Stefania Sokolova (Minsk);

6. Neskuchny Vozrast, band (Minsk);

7. Maria Zhilina (Minsk);

8. Zinaida Kupriyanovich (Minsk);

9. Olga Konovalova (Mogilev);

10. Alexander Minenok (Minsk).

After the draw, the finalists talked to the project organisers and phoniatrist Natalia Kanoiko, who will be advising the young artists.

Also today, the organisers have announced the date of the national selection final, which is 26 August. Traditionally, the final will be held as a gala concert to be broadcast live on the TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24.

Meanwhile, the contestants will continue meeting with TV crew members until the final. In late July - early August, Belteleradiocompany will record video postcards for each of the 10 participants. The videos to be directed by Yuri Yaroshik will be focused on the idea of children trying on adult jobs.

Each of the finalists will discuss the concept and features of their stage performances for the TV show with television experts in Belteleradiocompany’s 600m studio. Prior to the final gala concert, the media holding will host individual and general rehearsals.
