Most of the projects of the First National Channel and channel Culture will be dedicated to our country's history and modern day, our renowned countrymen and Belarusian intellectual elite.
The key project of the season "Belarusian Album" will come up with a wealth of new themes. Following the objectives for the new season interesting introductions were made to the popular literary programs "Brama", "Sentimental Hunting", "Book Stall", "Short Stories", "A Minute of Language", and "Vernacular Word".
Amendments were also made to the Belarusian Radio's rating program "Family Radio for Those Who are Home". The program will keep on drawing the attention of the Belarusian community to family problems, Belarusian home customs and traditions. The program is up to creating a confidential climate without edification and sermons.
The news will continue to keep a grasp over of the channel's lead. New work methods, style innovations and modern standards of broadcasting will help the radio to keep its sector of the information market and even move forward.
Road shows, news-bulletins and hot tip every hour on the hour will remain a priority in the new season. Political, social and economic programs such as "Theme of the Day", "Theme of the Week", "Belarus-Russia", "Without Barriers", "Program A: Actual and Authoritative" will have more analysis in them.
The biggest share (about 60%) of the music air will be occupied by the Belarusian music. At the same time a big deal of modern European music will break into the air.
'Euroradio", a joint project with the European Broadcasting Union is underway. The project provides for exchange in music programs featuring pop, jazz, rock'n'roll, various music information as well as broadcasts of prestigious European concerts and festivals. The cooperation with the EBU will assist the promotion of the Belarusian music in Europe and enrich the music palette of the Belarusian Radio.
The joint project with the First National TV Channel will launch the program "On the Crossroads of Europe". The Saturday morning set of programs "Let's Stay Together" will add a folk hit parade to the festival information and meetings with participants and organizers. Thus the audience will be able not only to learn about the festival performers, but also to chart their songs and have a live talk with them.
Another novelty of the season was produced together with the First National TV Channel and radio station "Radius FM". This is a national hit parade, aimed at promotion of the Belarusian music.
The channel "Culture" will be reflecting on the pillars of world and national culture and promoting its major accomplishments.
The new positioning strategy, designed by the Belarusian Radio, is circumspect, correct and promising. It will cater to a variety of tastes and interests of our target audience.
