The Belarusian delegation also includes 7 participants of the dance troupe, Alexey’s father Alexander Zhigalkovich, a vocal teacher Olga Vronskaya, choreographer Alexander Mezhenny, phoniatrist Zhanna Romanova and representatives of Belteleradiocompany.
Alexey Zhigalkovich will present his song "S Druz'yami" ("With Friends"), which won at the national junior contest "Song for Eurovision". For the first time in the history of Junior Eurovision all the contestants will sing together a final song "One World". Thus, this year the participants including Alexey Zhigalkovich had to prepare two songs: a contest song in native language and a final song in English.
The Belarusian delegation is leaving for the Netherlands on December 1. A meeting of the delegations in Rotterdam will take place the next day. On Monday, December 3, the soloists will take part in the record of the final song "One world", shooting of video greeting cards and interviews for UNICEF, joint decoration of the carpet for green room (room for the participants). A party, timed to the opening of the contest, will take place at the end of the day. Rehearsals and excursions about Rotterdam are scheduled for Tuesday. On Wednesday, December 5, the children will go for a party at Santa Claus' and attend Euro Disco on Thursday. Two dress rehearsals are scheduled for the last day before the contest.
The international junior contest Eurovision 2007 will take place on December 8. The live broadcast of the contest with Denis Kurian will be provided by the First Channel and TV channel "Belarus TV".
The TV audience of all participating states including Belarus can vote for the performers of Eurovision 2007.
The vote will start as soon as the first song begins and finishes after the second show of the episodes of all performances. The numbers of the phones will appear on the screen in the beginning of every song and during the show of the episodes.
According to the rules of the contest the TV viewers can vote for any participant but their own. The number of the vote is 8-810-101-03-ХХ (ХХ - is the number of the performer from 01 to 17). The cost of the vote is 1000 Belarusian rubles. SMS-vote (available to subscribers of all mobile operators) can be done by sending SMS messages with the performer’s number (from 1 to 17) to the number 7708. The cost of the message is 1300 Belarusian rubles.
A reserve jury of 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids) will be operating in every country and make its vote in case of possible breakdowns in the telephone vote. According to the rules of the EBU the members of the reserve jury in Belarus are selected by Belteleradiocompany. The information about the members of the jury is confidential. The jury can not vote for representative of their country or abstain from the vote.
After the end of the vote the German company Digame will have 7 minutes for collecting the data, transforming them in points and passing the information to the EBU and TV companies of the member-sates. After the performance of the song "One World" ends, the results of the vote will be announced. Points from 1 to 5 will automatically appear on the screen, while points from 6 to 12 have to be announced by junior hosts.
The results of the Belarusian vote will be announced by a student of the 8th grade of gymnasium #24 Alexander Rogachevsky.
