Latvian National TV and Radio Company invited “Alexandra & Konstantin”. Belarusian musicians took part in a live program “Rits” (Morning) and were interviewed for “Sems”, “Aizskadri” (Off screen) and Russian language program “Big Fitting”. During one interview there was a question “Are you going to Turkey for victory or for participation?” and Alexandra answered “We are going to represent our nation!”.
“Alexandra & Konstantin” sang together with “Fomins & Kleins” and started recording “Dziesma par laimi” (“Happiness Song”) that will be performed by Latvians this year in Turkey.
Konstantin Drapezo noted that some Belarusian lines where inserted especially for Belarusian audience. As the result a new version of “Dziesma par laimi” appeared where Latvian and Belarusian lines are heard. Alexandra perfectly managed complicated Latvian words and added her featured way of singing. Latvians where taught how to pronounce some Belarusian words. “We think it all came out very well, - noted Konstantin, - we brought video of this work to Minsk. Besides, we made friends with the Latvian duo.”
We hope that after Latvians hear Alexandra singing “Dziesma par laimi” in their native language, they won’t help voting for Belarus at the upcoming forum in Turkey.
“Fomins & Kleins” are expected to arrive in Minsk with the return visit on April 27.
