Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 to show first semi-final of Eurovision-2018

On May 8, the first semi-final of Eurovision-2018 international song contest will be held in Lisbon (Portugal). The TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24, as well as the site of Belteleradiocompany www.tvr.by, will start the live broadcast of the grand song show at 22.00.

Representative of Belarus ALEKSEEV will perform his song "Forever" number 8. Among other contestants there are performers from Azerbaijan, Iceland, Albania, Belgium, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Israel, Estonia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia, Austria, Greece, Finland, Armenia, Switzerland, Ireland and Cyprus.

In the first semi-final, the participating countries vote, as well as Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom. The telephone numbers for voting will be announced by the commentator and indicated by the air graphics during the live broadcast. In accordance with the rules of the contest, Belarusian viewers cannot vote for a song representing their country.

Yevgeny Perlin, a journalist from TV News Agency, Belteleradiocompany, will comment the main music TV show in Europe.

Tomorrow ALEKSEEV will have the second individual rehearsal on the Altice Arena stage. According to the results of the first rehearsal, for which the Belarusian contestant had 30 minutes, adjustments were made to the stage lighting, and additional decor for the rising platform will be prepared, mirrors will appear to create an air effect. In addition, it is necessary to coordinate the interaction with the operator, who removes one of the main visual moments of the performance, a rose.

In the press center of Eurovision-2018, hundreds of music critics and bloggers from all over Europe watch the rehearsals. They highly appreciated the performance of the official representative of Belarus: a flying rose in the beginning, a shot at the performer from the bow, a back wounded with thorns and a gorgeous girl in red dancing contemp.

Before the second rehearsal, ALEKSEEV continues to give interviews and work with a vocal coach.

43 countries take part in the 63rd contest "Eurovision-2018". Portugal hosts the song forum for the first time. The slogan of the current Eurovision is "All Aboard!" Last year, for the first time, the show was hosted exclusively by men, and this time the four girls - Catarina Furtado, Daniela Ruah, Filomena Cautela and Sílvia Alberto will be the hosts.
