This year the professional jury is composed by the Chair of Belteleradiocompany Gennady Davydko (the chair of the jury), the national artistes of Belarus Vasily Rainchik and Alexander Tikhanovich, the distinguished artiste of Belarus, participant of Eurovision 2013 Alena Lanskaya, head of radio station "Radius FM" Elena Treshchinskaya, head of the section of culture at TV Infoservice Mikhail Revutsky, director of SHTAM Alexander Mezhenny, head of the department of arts at the Belarusian Ministry of Culture Marianna Malchik, soloist of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Eduard Martynyuk.
On Friday, November 29, the professional jury will name 15 best performers, who will take part in the final of the national selection round.
The final of the contest will take place in January 2014. The performer, who scored the greatest number of points, as a result of the vote of professional jury and the audience will represent Belarus at Eurovision 2014 contest in Copenhagen, (Denmark).
As of November 26, 70 applications for the auditions have been filed. But this is not a final figure, as the last day of sending in November 24 and some dispatches can be still on their way.
Among the contestants are both well-known and new performers including Nuteki, Alexei Gross, Daria, Natalia Tamelo, Ivan Buslai, Elena Grishanova, Georgy Koldun, DiDyuLya and Max Lorens, Yegor Volchok, Marina Vasilevskaya.
The organization of the national selection round and preparation of the Belarusian participant to Eurovision-214 contest is carried out by Belteleradiocompany as the sole Belarusian member of the European Broadcasting Union.
