The final concert of the National selection round of the International Eurovision Song Contest-2018 has finished in Belteleradiocompany. Alekseev has won the national selection and, accordingly, becomes the official representative of our country at the international competition.
The winner's name was announced on air of the TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24. Live broadcast of the show was also held by the website tvr.by and the radio station Radius FM.
The winner received a stylized Eurovision heart made to order of Belteleradiocompany by the glass factory Neman. Prizes and gifts for the winner and finalists were prepared by other sponsors of the project.
In total 10 contestants took part in the final of the national selection: 1. Adagio; 2. Alekseev; 3. Shuma; 4. Napoli; 5. Anastasia Malashkevich; 6. Gunesh; 7. Radio wave; 8. Alen Hit; 9. Lexy Weaver; 10. Cyril Hood.
Special guests took part in the big concert, including NaviBand, representative of our country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, as well as the brightest artists of the current and last year's national selections.
Hosts of the gala concert were Olga Ryzhikova and Teo.
The organization of the national qualifying round and the further preparation of the Belarusian participant for the international song contest Eurovision-2018 are conducted by Belteleradiocompany as the only member of the European Broadcasting Union in Belarus.
Eurovision Song Contest 2018, the 63rd International Song Contest, will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 8 to 12 May.
