VAL duet to represent Belarus at Eurovision Song Contest 2020

The final of the national eliminations for the Eurovision 2020 Song Contest has ended. VAL duet with the most points from the professional jury and the audience 20 became the winner of the national eliminations and the official representative of our country at the international competition.

The winner was announced live on Belarus 1 and Belarus 24. The online broadcast of the show was conducted by official website of Belteleradiocompany tvr.by, the international satellite channel Belarus24.by, radio station Radius FM on FM diapason and radiusfm.by.

12 contestants took part in the final of the nationaleliminations: 1. NAPOLI; 2. Sasha Zakharik; 3. Anastasiya Malashkevich; 4. CHAKRAS band; 5. Anastasiya Glamozda; 6. Nastasea; 7. Yan Yaroshe; 8. Angelica Pushnova; 9. Darya Khmelnitskaya; 10. AURA; 11. KeyCi; 12. VAL.

Evgeny Perlin and Helena Meraai will host the show.

An online conference with a winner will be held on official website of Belteleradiocompany www.tvr.by.

The jubilee 65th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in May this year in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Semifinals will be held on May 12 and 14, the final on May 16. The representative of our country will perform in the first part of the first semi-final. The live broadcast of 2 semi-finals and the finals will traditionally be conducted by Belarus 1 and Belarus 24.

The organization and conduct of the national eliminations, as well as preparation for the international Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is carried out by Belteleradiocompany as the only member of the European Broadcasting Union and the co-organizer Ministry of Culture of Belarus.
