A. Lukashenko: Belarus ready to implement joint logistics projects with UAE
Belarus is interested in implementing logistics projects together with partners from UAE. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the relevant statement as he met with DP World Chairman of the Board.

DP World Corporation is a powerful player on the world market. The corporation owns 77 cargo terminals across 40 countries. UAE businessmen are interested in logistics hubs in Belarus, there are already 19 of them in our country and the sphere continues developing. So, a huge facility is being built now near the Minsk International Airport. Its launch is expected to take place next year.
Belarus begins early payment of pensions ahead of May 9
In connection with the upcoming public holidays pensions in Belarus will be paid out earlier. The money for the May 9 will be paid today in post offices in Mogilev, Bobruisk and Minsk, tomorrow - in other regions. Those who receive pension on the 10th, can come to the post office on May 6 (in Mogilev and Bobruisk) and on 7th in other towns and villages. In all post offices of Gomel region the pensions for 9 and 10 May will be paid on Saturday.
Belarusian city of Zhodino holds International Bread Forum
International Bread Forum is being held for the first time in our country. Over a hundred Belarusian and foreign experts gathered in Zhodino to discuss improving the quality of breeding, seed production and processing of grain, and baking. Also, the participants were shown the modern equipment and the analytical capabilities of national laboratories.
It should be mentioned that last year Belarus harvested nearly 9 million tons of grain. According to the experts, the use of modern technologies and effective approach to agriculture will increase this figure by a third in 5 years.
