Belarus and Kazakhstan to develop program of trade and economic cooperation for 10 years

Belarus President is on an official visit to Kazakhstan. The day before Alexander Lukashenko held talks with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev. During the talks the leaders discussed projects in mechanical engineering and joint ventures. The parties agreed to develop a program of trade and economic cooperation for 10 years in the near future. The draft document is expected to be considered in June in Gomel. Today Astana will host a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Its main topic will be the formation of a single oil and gas market in the EEU. Also, the presidents will discuss cooperation with China, the EU and other countries and associations. In total, there are 15 issues on the agenda.

European School of Biotechnology opened in Minsk

The European School of Biotechnology opened at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. It brought together more than 50 young scientists from the European Association. In the coming days, scientists and lecturers from the European Association will share experience and scientific ideas, discuss the most interesting topics in the field of biotechnology. According to experts, such a format of cooperation will allow to create research teams of scientists from different countries to solve specific scientific problems in the future.

Just a month left before the opening of the 25th Art Festival "Slavonic Bazaar" in Vitebsk

In Vitebsk, preparations for the Slavonic Bazaar are in full swing. Organizers promise to beat several cultural records during the anniversary festival. The first is the number of participants. The geography of the competition has become much wider - more than 40 participating countries. The summer amphitheater will feature representatives of Colombia and Argentina for the first time. In total, more than a hundred meetings and cultural events will be held during the festival. Special emphasis will be placed on the works of Vladimir Mulyavin, who would have turned 75 this year. Tickets for some concerts are already sold out.
