Russian FM is on official visit in Belarus
Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov have met in Minsk to discuss the joint work of the two countries in integration formats. The agenda of the visit includes a wide range of issues related to bilateral Belarusian-Russian cooperation, joint work in various integration formats, first of all, in the EEU, CIS, CSTO. The ministers are also talking over mutual support and coordination of approaches to the activity on the platforms of various international organizations. The parties are expected to share opinions on the most important issues of regional and global security and stability.
Minsk hosts international conference “Limmud Belarus”
International Conference "Limmud Belarus" opened in Minsk. It is dedicated to the Year of Culture. This is one of the world's largest educational forums. The Jewish community carries it out in 20 countries. Over 700 participants from Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Israel and the United States came to Minsk. In Belarus, it will be held for the third time and for the first time in the capital. Prior to that, the forum was held in Marc Chagall's hometown of Vitebsk. A total of 150 events is scheduled. Those are: training sessions, workshops, master classes, concerts, excursions and exhibitions.
