Official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Belarus continues. Today Alexander Lukashenko and Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov are expected to ceremonially unveil the building of the embassy of Turkmenistan in Belarus. At the yesterday's talks, the state leaders declared their intention to actively step up cooperation in all areas. First of all it is economy and investments. One of the promising avenues is deliveries of the Belarusian machinery. Our country is also ready to share with Turkmenistan its experience in personnel training.

A sitting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will be held today in Mogilov. 27 issues are on the agenda, centering on trade and economic cooperation. Middle-term forecast of the social and economic development of the Union State, as well as forecast balance of demand and supply on the most important items for the current year will be discussed.
The Council of ministers will also examine draft concepts of 5-year programs on the development of genetics, medicine, nanotechnologies, hydrometeorological safety.
Bilateral talks between the Prime-ministers will cover a wide range of cooperation matters.

The second semifinal of the “Eurovision” competition will be held today in Stockholm. Among the 17 participants, is representative of Belarus IVAN. He will appear under number 5 and perform a song “Help You Fly”. 10 competitors will proceed to the finals according to the viewers' and jury's votes. They will join the 10 winners of the first semifinals and representatives of the competition-founding countries. Today, Belarusians will have an opportunity to vote for anybody except IVAN.
