Congratulations on Independence Day addressed to Head of State and Belarusian people

Congratulations on Independence Day to the Head of State and the Belarusian people came from foreign leaders, foreign political and public figures, and leaders of integration associations. President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated the Belarusian people and the President on the national holiday. On the occasion of Independence Day, the President of the PRC Xi Jinping extended congratulations on behalf of the Chinese government and the people of this country, as well as on his own behalf.

Alexander Lukashenko and the friendly Belarusian people were congratulated by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier noted a significant intensification in relations between the countries. “I am happy that through a joint ceremony in Maly Trostenets in June 2018, we were able to give a historical signal for joint memory,” the message of the congratulation said.

Alexander Van der Bellen, President of Austria, also sent his hearty congratulations.

The warmest words and wishes were presented by Pope Francis. Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Elizabeth II wished Belarus well-being and prosperity. The Presidents of Ukraine, France, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Venezuela, as well as foreign leaders, congratulated the Belarusian people and the head of state on the national holiday. Congratulations were sent by the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the CIS, as well as the Acting General Secretary of the CSTO.
