President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated the Belarusian people and the President on the national holiday. On the occasion of Independence Day, the President of the PRC Xi Jinping extended congratulations on behalf of the Chinese government and the people of this country, as well as on his own behalf.
Alexander Lukashenko and the friendly Belarusian people were congratulated by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier noted a significant intensification in relations between the countries. “I am happy that through a joint ceremony in Maly Trostenets in June 2018, we were able to give a historical signal for joint memory,” the message of the congratulation said.
Alexander Van der Bellen, President of Austria, also sent his hearty congratulations.
