Ukrainian crisis today discussed in Potsdam

The informal meeting of OSCE Foreign Ministers was attended by foreign ministers from forty countries, it was convened at the initiative of the OSCE chairman, Foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. He reminded his colleagues of the importance of the implementation of the Minsk agreements and called the parties not to retreat from the agreements achieved.

Vladimir Makei presented the vision of our country in relation to the development of the security situation in the OSCE region. The Minister, in particular, noted an increase in tension and a variety of threats. At the same time, the diplomat called OSCE partners to work together to restore the viability of the regime of control over conventional arms in Europe, harmonization of integration processes and the resolution of the existing conflicts, including the same Ukrainian crisis. Vladimir Makei confirmed the readiness of our country to fully support these processes.
