Belarusian President ends visit to African continent

In Khartoum the two Presidents confirmed the firm intention to develop a political dialogue and  concrete economic results. The partners intend to bring trade and economic turnover to the maximum level. Belarus is ready to participate in the development projects of industry and infra-structure of the Sudan. There are prospects in the parking structure and agriculture.

More and more people in Sudan know Belarus. Even the red-green flags in the streets in Khartoum do not surprise anyone: the visit of Alexander Lukashenko was announced in the local media long before the date of the talks.

Most of the large-scale meetings and negotiations were held in the national complex of Sudan’s President.

Mohamed Abdelazim, Director of the sale of agricultural machinery and equipment: "Belarusian products are very competitive, as compared to other global manufacturers. And cooperation with your company is very transparent and functional. Everything is done without delay and problems. We are very optimistic, because Sudan has great potential for agriculture. And Belarus has one of the best companies in this field, especially for the production of agricultural equipment and technology, agricultural science."

Another promising area for cooperation is exploration. The state is rich with black gold.

Omar al-Bashir, President of Sudan: "We support the further development of relations with Belarus in various areas. Your visit and business forum indicate that our  countries have the will to strengthen relations, especially at the economic level. Our relations and cooperation will continue and should go to a higher level."

Mohammed Awad Zayed, Minister of Oil and Gas of Sudan, co-chairman of the Belarusian-Sudanese joint commission on cooperation: "To be honest, when I visited the industrial enterprises, I was very impressed by your farm machinery. Of course, we have already started cooperation in the field of exploration. In Belarus, there are organizations that work in this area. We are very interested in modern technologies and exploration. Another promising direction is the sphere of IT. We know that Belarus is very advanced in that direction."

Another area that interests Khartoum is pharmaceuticals. Belarus is ready to export not only drugs, but also to train the Sudanese doctors. The most promising areas have been discussed in the presence of specialized ministers of industry, agriculture, science, energy and more.

Another important document - the Treaty on Friendly Relations and Cooperation.

Alexander Lukashenko invited Omar al-Bashir to visit Minsk to see how the country has changed since his previous visit in 2004.

Omar al-Bashir, President of Sudan: "Joint activities, despite the distance between our countries, will develop without any limitation.  We will continue to cooperate in the technological and other fields. "

Belarus is ready to offer and the new format of cooperation in agriculture.
