Conditions for business activity should be improved in Belarus, as stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at today’s meeting of a working group tasked with optimising control activities in business. Set up early this year, the group consists of representatives of state bodies and successful entrepreneurs. About 450 various inspections take place in the country on a daily basis.

The President has set a task to review approaches to appointing the control activities, to reduce their number and reorganise them. Administrative procedures directly affecting business also require simplifying. The President has urged the working group to use all possible resources for implementing the tasks. The work should be transparent with the maximum involvement of the public and the business community.
