Belarusian President meets with delegation from EU Political and Security Committee

The EU Political and Security Committee plays the key role in preparing and approving the European Union Council’s decisions. It consists of the ambassadors of 28 EU countries. According to Alexander Lukashenko, Minsk and Brussels have a unique opportunity for mutually beneficial cooperation. Belarus is ready for open dialogue. Special attention during the talks was paid to the situation in the global arena. As stated by the President, Belarus is concerned about an increase in antagonism between West and East.

The Belarusian President and EPC Group Managing Director Jens Henkel discussed the implementation of joint Belarusian-German projects. EPC Group specialises in consulting, design and construction works. The parties also discussed the possibility of the German company’s participation in developing the Mogilevkhimvolokno enterprise and in other projects in Belarus, including in agriculture and the petrochemical industry.
