16 июня 2017

The President is currently making a working trip to the Gomel region’s Khoiniki district, focusing on the Polesie State Radioecological Reserve. The Belarusian leader has arrived at the country’s largest environmental institution to familiarize himself with environmental processes at the reserve and its experimental and economic activity.

In due time, an experimental base was created there at the President’s request to include a cattle farm containing 300 horses and an apiary for 90 honey bee colonies.

Alexander Lukashenko is planned to familiarize himself with samples of the products released at the reserve and visit a scientific center where laboratory analysis and monitoring of the radiological situation is organized. Special attention during the working visit will be paid to issues related to the region’s socio-economic development, agricultural campaign and fodder procurement.
