Belarus and UAE to develop cooperation in key sectors

Alexander Lukashenko's visit to the United Arab Emirates has been called a breakthrough in the history of the relations between the two countries. A number of bilateral meetings have resulted in a series of agreements in different areas. The countries will significantly intensify cooperation in agriculture, industry, education, aviation and the military-technical sector. UAE investors have expressed the desire to invest in Belarus' infrastructure facilities and establish joint ventures. The trade turnover between the two countries in the near future is expected to grow by 10 times reaching 500 million dollars per year. Today the parties have conducted consultations and preparations for the next negotiation round.

Late in the evening after a hard working day, the teams of the President of Belarus and UAE hockey veterans held a match which ended with a score of 14-10 in favour of Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko scored 7 goals in total.
