The development of economies and, eventually, peoples’ well-being depends on the depth of integration in the customs sphere, as stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the heads of CIS customs services. They have gathered in Minsk to attend a meeting of the Council, which is an industry-specific cooperation platform in the CIS.

Customs services are designed to handle commodity flows quickly and efficiently, contributing to an increase in trading volumes. Belarus is interested in goods from the Asia-Pacific region being delivered to Europe through its territory.
