Alexander Lukashenko urges Russia to decide on future of joint integration projects

President Alexander Lukashenko has urged Russia to decide on the future of joint integration projects following a meeting with Union State Secretary Grigory Rapota. According to the Belarusian leader, the economy has come to the fore, last year’s results of trade turnover between Belarus and Russia being discouraging. Besides, there have been additional issues of concern affecting the bilateral cooperation of the two countries.

The Standing Committee is preparing to hold a meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers. The Union State Supreme State Council is planned to meet at the end of this year or early next year, its agenda currently being worked on by experts.
