Belarusian CEC to hold dress rehearsal of election on October 5

Daria Belousova-Petrovskaya: According to the CEC , 28 578 national observers and 823 international monitors were accredited for the election. They represent the missions of the CIS, the Parliamentary Assemblies of the OSCE and the Council of Europe and the OSCE ODIHR and the electoral authorities of foreign states.

On October 5 all polling stations will check the lists of voters. The average age of the electorate is 30-35.

Now representatives of election commissions spread invitations among the electors, doing everything possible to organize comfortable voting for people with disabilities.

By the way, on the eve of the elections the Central Election Commission of Belarus will hold a dress rehearsal. This was reported today by the chair of the CEC Lidia Yermoshina. On the 6th of October the early voting will begin, so everything must be ready.

Early voting is a popular practice. It gives an opportunity to vote to those who can not cast their votes on election day, those who are working or living abroad or is going on a vacation, or is serving in the army. So it is a very common practice in many countries.
