About 25 500 national observers and 482 international experts to monitor elections in Belarus

About 25 500 national observers and 482 international experts will monitor the elections in Belarus. Among them is the CIS mission. 328 short-term observers have been accredited. They will arrive in Belarus on the eve of elections. 44 observers have already started their work in Belarus. They visited all the regions and participated in the formation of election commissions. According to the head of the mission of CIS observers, the parliamentary campaign in Belarus is planned, organized and held in accordance with the law.

The main question of the meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS countries was the agreement of the draft agenda of the meeting of Heads of Governments to be held in Minsk on October, 28. It is expected that participants will discuss the course of realization of the agreement on free trade zone, as well as humanitarian cooperation.
