Georgian parliamentary delegation stays in Minsk for a three-day visit

Today, negotiations on strengthening inter-regional cooperation and new projects in industrial cooperation were held in the House of Representatives. The mutual trade amounted to more than 50 million dollars last year. That is why Belarus and Georgia intend to open a new page in trade and economic relations.

The visit of the delegation from the Caucasus is a continuation of the implementation of the agreements reached in April last year, during the first official visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Georgia. Minsk and Tbilisi signed 16 bilateral agreements. The bilateral trade is expected to reach 200 hundred million dollars. The countries decided to establish joint production and trade with the markets of the European and Eurasian Economic Union. This year Belarus will open its embassy in Georgia.
