Minsk greets Memory Train

17 мая 2017

For the 11th year in a row, the Kaliningrad authorities organize a patriotic campaign called the Memory Train. This year, the train is to visit several cities in Belarus and Russia. During the trip, the participants of the campaign, nearly 500 people, recall the events of the Great Patriotic War. In Minsk, the guests laid flowers at the Minsk Hero City Memorial, visited museums, and met with Minsk schoolchildren.

Since the start of the campaign – 10 years ago -- nearly 4,000 residents of Kaliningrad and the region have become passengers of the Memory Train. They are schoolchildren, university students, and veterans.
