Bird's eye view of Minsk

By Yan Pashkevich: A large air festival took place in Minsk that gave everyone a chance to enjoy a bird's eye view of the Belarusian capital. For one day, the Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life turned into an airfield, where everyone could watch an aerobatics show with stuntmen.

Nearly 20 vehicles, including airplanes, hang gliders, and air balloons, offered a chance of an air travel. Novice pilots were also given lessons in the pilots’ slang.

Belteleradiocompany’s crew also managed to test-fly an autogyro, which is one of the safest vehicles in the world - it can use air power. It can be filled at the nearest petrol station, too.

This isn’t the only air festival that Minsk will see this summer. In about a month, an air balloon festival is to take place in the capital.
