The World War I frontline, where unique fortifications have been preserved, was passing through the village of Vygonoshchi in the Ivatsevichi district. Members of eight military history clubs have reenacted the battles between Russian and German troops that took place at the Oginski Canal in 1916. For the first time, the reenactment involved the Rosenberg gun - one of the most important artillery pieces of the First World War.

The main aim of the Vygonoshchi reenactment is to draw people's attention to the century-old events as well as to become a tourism brand.
