Heads of diplomatic missions hold seminar in Minsk

The Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke today with the leaders of Belarusian diplomatic missions.

According to Vladimir Makei, Belarusian exports grew by almost 23%. This year, within 5 months, the figures reached 2 billion dollars. However, Vladimir Makei asked diplomats to continue their productive work to promote domestic goods and services. Such seminars for ambassadors, which are held annually in Minsk, help diplomats finding the best solutions and discuss the current state of affairs. This year, thee format of the seminar provides the diplomats with an opportunity to meet the Belarusian President, too.

Andrei Savinykh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey:

"The modern world is changing rapidly, a multipolar world is being formed with all the ensuing consequences. Naturally, this process is associated with serious shocks and serious territorial, economic and political shifts. We cannot ignore these trends. And here everything is linked, including security, economy, and political relations."

The seminar for the ambassadors will last until the end of the week. The agenda includes various topics – from foreign policy and economy to tourism opportunities in Belarus and the development in sport.
