Belarusian entrepreneurs can trade without documents till January 1, 2016

This compromise was reached at the open conversation between business and the government, which was positively evaluated by entrepreneurs. Those who had to stop their work due to the absence of certificates resumed their work today. The main goal was achieved. Interests of the parties have been taken into account: entrepreneurs did not just get a second postponement, but also financial support. VAT will not be increase immediately, but in three stages.

Entrepreneurs met this decision with optimism. There is still enough time to sell the rest of the goods that are not supported by documents.

Sergei, entrepreneur: "There are leftovers of the goods. I sell them intensively. I think since the first of January I will only have the goods with documents."

Petr Sinkevich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the exhibition center: "You know, we employ 1,200 entrepreneurs in our center. 600 of them work with non-certified products. I think there is time to refocus and find a way how to get out of this situation."

Viktor Margelov, Co-Chair of the Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship: "Entrepreneurs should pay attention to the products that are available in Belarus. Including imported goods with documents. We want our major retailers who import goods in a wide range, to create small wholesale departments that will sell the entrepreneurs the goods at affordable prices and with the documents and certificates."

Sergei Solodovnikov, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Chair of Belarusian National Technical University: "I believe that this measure is very big gift to the business. The small business must fulfill some requirements and generally think about its place in the economy as a whole."

So, entrepreneurs should look for areas of application of their initiative. Transparent papers and security are the standard of European business.
