An exhibition dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and Belarusian book printing opened in the art gallery University of Culture at the Palace of the Republic. 500 years ago, Francysk Skaryna printed the first Belarusian books and gave the start to Belarusian printing. Around the same time, 500 years ago, Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of All Saints' Church and other churches in Wittenberg, Germany.

The exhibition presents not only the life of Martin Luther – a professor of theology and writer, the founder of Lutheranism, a major branch of Protestant Christianity, the man who translated the Bible from Latin into German – but also the time in which he lived, as well as the Reformation in general.

The Ninety-Five Theses was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with Luther’s 13 other documents.
