Belarusian Embassy in Moscow celebrating Day of Mother Language

Calling of spring, Kupalinka, Christmas rituals. The Belarusian Embassy in Moscow is celebrating the Day of Mother Language. The guests of the event, diplomats, officials of the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, as well as representatives of the Belarusian Diaspora, saw more than 200 rare exhibits, for example, wooden utensils and musical instruments of the 19th century, traditional costumes, old towels and modern tapestries under the fiery folk songs and dances of the folk band Kupalinka.

Belarusian language is one of the oldest among the Slavic languages. And according to UNESCO, it is the most melodic one, after Italian.
