Brest City Day celebrations start with Berestye Ball

31 июля 2015

The Berestye Ball, held in the Brest Drama Theatre, brought together people of different ages and professions united by one desire - to enjoy the waltz and live music. The atmosphere of intimacy was created by Italian opera singers Elena D'Angelo and Domenico Stasi and Belarusian opera singer Alexander Roslavets.

The Berestye Ball marked the start of Brest City Day celebrations as this weekend Brest will celebrate its 992nd birthday. The International Street Theatre Festival and Carnival, which will be held for the first time, will feature vintage car and bicycle parades, various contests, sports competitions, exhibitions, concerts by Belarusian and foreign artists and a fireworks display.
