Member of British royal family pays official visit to Minsk

Prince Michael of Kent is a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. The prince arrived in Minsk with a business interest. His company is engaged in consulting in different areas - from telecommunications and construction to finance, medicine and automotive industry. It was agreed that Minsk and London will cooperate in the field of road safety. It is enshrined in a joint memorandum. Under Prince’s patronage a number of global non-profit initiatives in the field of road safety are being implemented. The development of trade relations between Belarus and the United Kingdom was discussed at the meeting between the Prince and President Alexander Lukashenko. This country is in the top three of our key partners. Britain is the second investor in the Belarusian economy after Russia.
