This week has seen many government members closely communicating with deputies discussing the budget in general and in detail on individual items. The MPs of both the 5th and 6th convocations will hold a traditional joint meeting with the President on 7 October.
Over the past four years, the deputies have approved more than 400 bills, the most high-profile of them being the law on combating corruption, tightening liability for drunk driving and the Eurasian Economic Union treaty.
