Legislative framework in Eurasian Union should go ahead economic processes

19 февраля 2015

Harmonization and unification of the legislative framework in Eurasian Union became one of the main topics at the meeting in Moscow. Head of the Council of the Republic of Belarus, Mikhail Myasnikovich, head of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the heads of both chambers of the Russian parliament agreed that the development of legislation should not lag behind economic integration. Belarus' position remains unchanged: the purpose of the Union is the formation of a common market without exceptions and limitations.

The most vital direction of harmonization of legislation is in the field of industrial cooperation. Particular attention will be given to innovation and scientific and technical progress. These questions will be put on the agenda of the second Regional Forum. By agreement with the Federation Council of Russia, it will be held this autumn in Nizhny Novgorod.
