Belarus’ first environment-friendly antifreeze production facility has been launched in Gomel. The new product’s samples have undergone laboratory testing, its safety confirmed by experts. It is not accumulated in the soil, does not require recycling and, most importantly, can replace expensive imported counterparts.

The production was launched as part of the project Promoting Belarus’ Transition to a Green Economy, with 170,000 euros allocated by the European Union.

The capacity of the new production line allows producing 1,000 tons of antifreeze per year. In addition, the project has created new jobs.

A few other environmental projects will have been implemented in Belarus by the end of the year.
