"Dry port" built in Belarus

They completely updated equipment and increased the area for container storage. The terminal in Kolyadichi near Minsk cooperates with the largest seaports in the world. And so the experts are already calling it one of the best "dry" ports of our country. Its advantages is flexibility, and capacity of up to 45 tons and a maximum height of 16 meters.

Kolyadichi station is one of the major partners of operators of shipping lines. Among them are the famous Black Sea ports: Odessa, Ilyichevsk as well as the Baltic ones: Klaipeda, Riga, Tallinn. There are plans to expand such cooperation and create "Silk Road" that will connect Asia and Europe.

The project involves the construction of the railroad, highways, industrial parks. This is the route not only for trade but also for the movement of capital and exchange of experts.

Belarus is ready to equip the infrastructure and create a framework for these enterprises.

As a result our country will be a key area of ​​the Silk Road. This is a truly unprecedented project, in which the participation of Belarus as one of the main partners was agreed at the highest level. This theme has become one of the main issues ay the meeting of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Chinese leader Xi Jinping during his official visit to Minsk in May this year.

"Silk" theme was continued in Ufa during the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS.

In addition, there is now a new part of a railroad with increased platform for all storage containers and heavy equipment. There are plans to connect Scandinavia with South-Eastern Europe

Last year alone, the center has earned 26 billion rubles.
