Vitebsk hosts International Economic Forum

20 cooperation agreements have become the result of the first day of the International Economic Forum in Vitebsk. More than a hundred exhibits from all over the country – from small family businesses to industrial giants – are represented at the forum. France, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, China, Vietnam, the Czech Republic, and more than ten regions of Russia are among potential investors. Business opportunities will also be discussed during thematic sections.

One of the items on the Forum's agenda was the opening of a new enterprise for the production of commercial equipment. The plant operates within the framework of the Free Economic Zone "Vitebsk". Polish and Ukrainian investors chose Vitebsk region for investment. This year, businessmen will pay special attention to green economy. These days, the city on the Dvina is also hosting the 14th National Environment Forum.
