13 year-old Lidiya Zablotskaya from Mogilev becomes winner of "Song for Eurovision" national junior contest.

"My dream has come true! Since my early childhood I wanted to represent Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest, said the winner of the national qualifying round Lidia Zablotskaya, age 13, after the results of the voting were announced. She was born in the ancient Belarusian city of Mogilev. She made her first on-stage appearance at the age of 4 and immediately won public recognition. "Golden Voice" and "Adorable Kid" were her first awards. Earlier she tried herself in the national qualifying round of "Song for Eurovision" and took the 4th place and a year later she managed to win gold of the competition.
Lidia successfully combines studies with fortepiano and vocal lessons at the "Vdokhnovenie" studio.
Close-knit Zablotsky family supports creative aspirations of Lida. Perhaps her younger brother and sister - twins Maxim and Masha - will follow in the footsteps of the elder sister. The girl lacks the amount of free time, she tries to spend it with her family and friends, as well as she reads a lot and listens to the music.
To the question "What's your song about?" she replies: "There are many miseries in the world. People die in earthquakes; however people commit many of the errors of judgment themselves. The grief also affected our country: attack occurred down in the Minsk subway in spring, killing innocent people. We ask the angels to stay with each one of us, protect our country and the world. This song is not about heavenly angels, but it's about people who do good deeds. I believe that a great force can revive even the immortal. Let the angel of goodness live in all of us!"
Young violinists Nastya Malyovanaya and Filipp Salata will perform together with Lidia. They say: "We are ordinary kids, we are not stars. We will continue to go to school, play, and make friends. We want to be average, that's all!"
