The First Channel and Satellite TV Channel "Belarus-TV" will broadcast live Eurovision Song Contest
The 55th International Song Contest "Eurovision-2010" will be broadcasted live on the First Channel and Satellite TV Channel "Belarus-TV" at 22:00 on May, 25, 27 and 29. One of the most prestigious music TV shows of Europe will take place in Oslo (Norway) this year.
37 countries will take part in it. "3+2" band with song "Butterflies" will represent Belarus at the contest. Belarusian participants of the contest "3+2" band together with well-known Swedish pianist and composer Robert Wells will perform sixteenth act in the first semi-final on May, 25.
The second semi-final will take place on May, 27. The contest final will take place on May, 29.
Special correspondent of TV News Agency of the National State TV & Radio Company Denis Kurian will comment on the contest.
Belarusian TV viewers will be able to vote for artists they like on May, 25 in the first semi-final and on May, 29 in the final. TV voting will be possible when the first participant begins to perform. After performance of the last participant TV viewers will have 15 more minutes to make the choice having dialed phone number which will appear on the screen. According to contest rules, Belarusian TV viewers can vote for all contestants except the representative of our country and voting of countries-participants will be formed from results of the voting of TV viewers and of jury of each country in the ratio 50/50.
Points given to participants will not be announced in the semi-finals. Show presenters will call names who reach the final. Results of voting of Belarusian TV viewers will be announced by Olympian champion, freestyler Alexey Grishin in the final.
